Time for another update! Yes… I know! It’s only been a few hours since the last one, so why the quick update? Well… why not 🙂 Since I have the time, I might as well fix all the bugs I can! This update brings a small change to the Breakdown form which, I’m sorry to say, was kinda broken in the last release 🙁
Just fixed a small problem (or major for some). This should fix all connection problems again! Sorry for the trouble! Some minor other things were also corrected. The Tree for example will now only show the filenames – looks better! A few tooltips were also added. I didn’t have the time to check if the … Read More “NZB Completion Checker update #4” »
A new very small update was just uploaded to the site. This fixes new connections issues with some servers – or most servers! I misread the RFC and used UTF8 where I was not supposed to – my bad 🙁
Anyways, the download link has been updated, so pleeease download the file again 🙂
Just a small for-your-information message. If not bugs have been reported by February 1st, NZB Completion Checker will change status to beta. This means that 0.7beta will be taken offline, and replaced by 0.9.4beta. So if you want to make sure, that a stable version is always readily available, pleasssssseeeeeee report any bugs you find! … Read More “February 1st, 2012 we go beta!” »
NZB Completion Checker is now at version 0.9.4399.27458 (lets just stick with 0.9.4a for short :-)).
Two things have changed in this release. The first one is rather simple. SSL Certificates that does not check out 100% is now accepted. Security wise you should be okay, no worries!
The second thing is something new.
Okay, the first update is up! Thanks to NewsGroupReviews for the bug report! This update will affect all current NZBcc 0.9a users, as it changes the location of the servers.lst file. The file will now be stored in your AppData folder. You can just move your current servers.lst file into the AppData folder, in a new folder called “NZBcc”.
First off, thanks to all the people who donated some CPU time. Secondly, I’m sad to report that it did not pay off 🙁 To create a single bitcoin, it would take almost 40K visitors, who stayed on the site for more than 2½ hours. With the current rate of people donating CPU time, it would take close to 7 years to complete a single coin. With the value of bitcoins dropping like crazy, that bitcoin would probably be worth less than $1 at that time. So I’m removing the feature from the homepage. No need to waste any more CPU cycles!
However…
Yes, it’s true! A new version of NZB Completion Checker has been released 🙂 Howver, this is just an alpha release, so there might be bugs – and most likely are!
This new version brings some new features, which should please most people!
It shouldn’t be more than a few days, before the next version of NZB Completion Checker is released… though, it will be an alpha relase (COULD be a bit unstable!). It will introduce a couple of new nice features 🙂
